Family Session

His love is never ending, His grace is abounding, His mercy is eternal.

"Give thanks to the LORD because he is good, because his faithful love endures forever."

To be loved so fervently despite our failures and shortcomings is a gift.

"Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins."

Pressing Pause

Pressing Pause.

That's exactly what photography does for my clients...my friends.  I can press pause on a moment in time for them that means something.

It's not about the posed smile, the matching outfits, or the props.

It could be meeting their new baby for the first time, a walk down the aisle, or a game of chase in a tree farm.

Whatever the moment, I'm grateful to capture it.

Family & Fishing...

Hopefully we are past the HOT, HOT days and starting to cruise into cooler evenings that are actually enjoyable enough to spend time outside!  That's what I loved about this session, as the sun started to set, the smiles got sweeter, the laughs were louder, and it was the perfect time to try to catch a fish...or two!

Engagement Session - My brother is getting MARRIED!!!!

Okay, so tears definitely flowed as I watched my "little" brother propose to his beautiful girlfriend!

When he first asked me to capture this moment for them, I was so stunned I couldn't speak...you see, I've been waiting for him to pop this oh, so important question for quite some time!!!  A little white lie had Megan convinced that I needed her help scouting new locations at her beloved Alma Mater.  But, this "regular session" turned into so much more than she imagined :)

To be there and witness the moment when she was so surprised just brought tears to my eyes (and even fogged my camera up a little haha)!

Congratulations Jonathan and Megan - I love you both so dearly!

Granny + Me

What an absolute treat this was to photograph a Grandmother and her Granddaughter as a surprise for the Mom!  Between twirls, finding flowers, reading books, and laughing it wasn't like a session at all - it was just a day they spent outside having fun!

1 Year Session

Just a relaxing stroll around the park capturing this wonderful family and celebrating as their little girl turns ONE!  Each milestone is so special and I adore being able to save these memories for the family.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.  JAMES 1:17

Family Day!

I traveled from Newberry to Columbia and back to Williamston to spend the day with this family.  We celebrated an engagement with their daughter and a first birthday with their grandson.

They sure do love their dogs :)

Sweet Cousins!

When family members live states away, it's always a great time having them come visit.  For these six cousins, it was a fun evening spent hanging out at the park, loving on the sweet baby, and telling some funny secrets :)

Mommy + Me Session

Mother's Day is quickly approaching and I'm so thankful for my own Mother.  She's caring, passionate, beautiful, and such a tremendous help with my son.

So to all you Mothers - Happy Mother's Day!!!!

This session was a special Mommy + Me time where she was able to capture some special moments with her two sons.

Gannom Wedding

"A friend like you is hard to find
A gift that's truly rare,
You held your arms out wide to me
And took up all my cares,

Then carried them along with me
As if they were your own,
You really are the kindest person
I have ever known.

Why was it when I turned around
I saw you stand and stay,
When one by one I watched as all
The others walked away?

Your steadfast faithfulness has surely
Stood the test of time,
And I'm so thankful just to know
A man like you is mine.

So often I have smiled at you and
Sometimes I can see,
The love of Jesus in your face
Smile gently back at me.

If I stayed down upon my knees
From dawn to setting sun,
How could I ever thank the Lord
For everything you've done?

If hearts had words to speak aloud
Of all that they held true,
My heart would shout, "I've found a
Soulmate, husband, friend in you!" "

Surprise!

A dear friend wanted to surprise her husband with the news that he is soon going to be a daddy.  He was under the impression that they'd won a free photo shoot.

I handed them each a chalkboard and marker and told them to write three things they love about one another.

It was news he was beyond excited to get.  Congratulations Cody and Haley!!
