Family Session

Just a few months after their wedding, this beautiful couple adopted sweet Daisy.  We waited a while for the sun to set but the results were breathtaking!

Engagement Session

Not everyone wants a traditional photo session.  I like to hear ideas that clients have and work with them to make those ideas reality.  Whitney and John wanted an engagement session filled with color, lots of color!

Back to School Minis | Day 2

Day two of these mini-sessions were just as fun.  With the setting of an old elementary school, the antique desk, books, and blocks made great props.  Happy first day of school!

Senior Session

With school starting back this week, I've started getting requests for senior sessions.  This is such a huge milestone in life and is so much fun to document.

Back to School Mini-Sessions | Day 1

Today was so much fun!  We smashed a cake, played with games, ran around, laughed and I had a wonderful time with each session.

I can't believe that it is already August and next week school starts.  I've been looking forward to these mini-sessions for weeks and now that they are here, it was just a great as I hoped it would be.

I'm looking forward to Day 2 this weekend :)

Smash Cake Session | Braxton

This little guy was all about eating every bite of his smash cake!  Braxton is so full of life, smiles, and the funniest faces.  It was such a joy to see how he reacted to everything around him.

He turns 1 next month and this celebration session was such a fun one.

I'm sure his beach inspired party will be a lot of fun.

Happy Birthday Braxton!

Patrick + Emilie Proposal

As I crouched behind driftwood, listened to the sound of the waves and anxiously awaited to see Patrick and Emilie walking up, I prayed for them.  I prayed for their hearts, their minds, their strength in this relationship and their strength with God.

Today would mark an important day in their lives and would start their journey as a family.

I was beyond honored when Patrick asked if I wouldn't mind driving the four hours to Edisto's Botany Bay Plantation to photograph this milestone for them.

The day was beautiful and I couldn't be happier for them.

Congratulations Patrick + Emilie!

I pray for many, many happy years for the two of you together!

Family Session | Hicks Family

I love being able to meet new people through photography.  This week I met the Hicks Family and we had a wonderful (although HOT) session at Furman University.

Despite the warm weather, the kids were full of smiles, laughs, and giggles!  The ducks at the lake made a very interesting aspect to the session as they tried to climb into the photos.

Newborn Session

Oh my, cuteness overload!  I loved being able to incorporate some of Dad's firefighting equipment into this session.  There is a long line of firefighters in this family and it is more than just their profession - it's their family.

Family Session | Clemson

I love going back to Clemson!  So, I was super excited when this family decided they wanted their photos taken on campus this week.  Everything was beautiful and it reminded me again of why I love Clemson so much.

The scenery created a beautiful backdrop for this beautiful family.  I love seeing multiple generations gather together and these three generations have so much love for one another.

50th Anniversary | Surprise Wedding!

I was looking forward to this event for weeks!  I was contacted by their daughter because she was throwing her parents a very special 50th Wedding Anniversary.  When Karen and Scott were married fifty years ago, they eloped.  There was no church ceremony, first dance, cutting cake, or reception.  They now were able to experience all of that - even the ceremony - thanks to their two children.  It was a very special surprise for everyone involved.  Family lined up as their bridal party and friends gathered to watch them renew their vows.

Newborn | Jaxon

Most of my time with newborn sessions consists of babies sleeping the entire time.  Not Jaxon!  He wanted to be wide awake and alert the entire time.  He can already hold his little head up and was definitely showing off that new skill.  He was such a joy and oh, so precious.

Newborn | Callahan

I was able to meet precious Callahan at 6 weeks old and he has the cutest facials and the fuzziest hair.  It's all adorable!

Family Session

There was so much laughter today with these cousins!  With such a close family, love was abundant, jokes were aplenty, and smiles were contagious.

With slightly cooler weather, beautiful scenery, and all of this entertainment, I couldn't have asked for a better evening behind the lens.

Family Sesson | Four Generations

The heat has been brutal lately but this beautiful family gathered four generations together and conquered it!  Despite the bugs, the warm weather, and the bumpy ride, I so enjoyed the scenery a local horse farm had to offer.

Family is so special and I was honored to help capture these moments that they can cherish as they travel back home and leave states between them.

Newborn Session

Photography has given me the opportunity to meet so many incredible new people.  Without this business I would have never met the wonderful family I met tonight who just welcomed their second daughter.

Bella

I met the bravest, strongest, most determined little girl today.  She just recently turned two months old - even though her due date wasn't supposed to be until mid-August.  Isabella and her family have an incredible story that is just beginning.

Instead of celebrating her baby shower this May, Kristen delivered her 26 week old baby via emergency c-section.  Fear, chaos, and the unknown all swarmed this family and their sweet baby.   They chose to trust in the Lord instead of in doubt and now they are counting down the days for Bella to come home.

God has done miraculous things with Bella.  She is truly an inspiration for us all.  I had the absolute privilege to visit with them in the NICU and take a few photos of sweet Bella.  She is wide-eyed and growing so much everyday.  I have no words to describe the pure love that was written all over her parent's faces as they just smiled at her.

Bella, I can't wait to see what amazing things you do!
